Annual, sweet melon. Keep well watered and protected from drought. Around 80 days from seed to harvest. Sow ½” deep.
A variety of colors can be harvested in as little as ~30 days. Older roots are not as tasty, but can be left to flower whites, pinks & purples, followed by tasty green pods. Dry seed pods can be cracked open & the seed
saved. Sow ¼” deep.
Annual snack. Dakota Black is a type of corn used for making popcorn. Short ears with shiny, hard black kernels grow quickly. Unlike eating corn, popping corn needs to dry out before use.
Plant in full sun garden soil.
Sow 2” deep.
